2011 Updated Demo Rules
Compact Class
1. Drivers must wear crash helmet and seat belts at all times in the arena.
Belts MUST be bolted solidly to the floor or fame.
2. All drivers and pit persons must sign a wavier releasing all offical of any responsibility and liability in derby contract.
3. If a driver or pit person is under the age of 18, they must have signed wavier by a parent or legal guardian. No one under the age 12 allowed in pits.
4. All cars must pass tech inspection, before receiving qualifying stick.
5. Wheel base is 106in front and rear wheel drives
6. Engine and drive terrain MUST match make of vehicle.
7. 4 cyl and v6 only.
8. Cars must have numbers on both doors and roof sign.
9. One loop of chain or cable, max diameter 3/8'' in two positions in front and rear of vehicle, no hood hinges-no hood, 3 window bars in front of drivers must be welded or bolted to roof and windshield cowl.
10. Radiator must remain in stock location, no coolant inside of drivers compartment.
11. Battery is to be moved into passenger compartment close to where glove box of vehicle is located. Battery securely fastened to floor in a battery box made of wood or metal, sides of box must be as tall as battery case. Must have some type of battery cover in case of explosion. No rubber straps are allowed.
12. Hood must have a 18in square access hole in case of fire.
14. Fenders may be trimmed for tire clearance, bumpers may be trimmed.
15. All doors to be secured with one loop in window area, drivers door Must
be reinforced with a bar no longer than 3''in front and rear of drivers door seam must be bolted or welded in a horizontal
16. A support bar behind drivers seat is allowed, a steering support is also allowed. Max. 4'' diameter round or square tubing with max. 6'' x6'' flat plate on ends of pipe-no galvanized pipe allowed. No other cross members to frame of vehicle.
17. All windows are to be removed, all broken glass must Not be located in vehicle, no debris in car or in truck area-you will have to clean it out of garbage, All burnable materials must be removed for your safety.
18. All mirrors and chrome trim must be removed.
19. Stock type bumpers and mounts only, no reinforcing allowed, bumpers have to be bolted or welded on.
20. No sand or cement in frames-no modifying or reinforcement allowed.
21. Rear ends maybe locked or welded solid.
22. 2 - ¾ in. ready rod through hood and trunk.
Iron Man Class

Pick- Up Class
1. Two-wheel drive only.
2. Six points in the box.
3. Four hold downs in the hood with only two going to frame.
4. Six gallon gas tank in box covered – fastened with bolts and steel straps – NO BUNGIES.
5. Drivers door may be welded and braced.
6. Dash bar allowed – behind the seat bar allowed and attached.
7. Battery in cab covered and securely fastened.
8. Tailgate may be welded.
9. Cab may be bolted down in four extra places with ¾ bolts through frame.
10. Cab and box may be bolted together with up to six bolts ¾ inch.
11. ½ and ¾ only two wheel drive only NO CONVERSIONS 4 x 4.
12 Bumpers may be welded on and can run car bumpers – NO AG or HOME MADE BUMPERS.
13. No Frame swapping or extending or shortening or altering or frame cross members Must be same frame pick-up came with from the factory
